Our Returns & Refunds Policy
At Southern India Aquatek (SIAC), we strive to provide high-quality aquarium products, healthy ornamental fishes, and reliable pet care solutions. Please read our Returns & Refunds Policy carefully to understand the terms under which returns, replacements, or refunds may be considered.
Southern India Aquatek (SIAC), Chennai, has over three decades of experience in aquariums, aquarium products, and freshwater ornamental fish breeding. We operate our own fish farm with strict quality control standards to ensure healthy and high-quality aquatic life.
Live Fish & Livestock
No returns or refunds are applicable for live fish once sold or delivered.
We ensure all fishes are healthy and carefully inspected before dispatch or handover.
SIAC is not responsible for loss or mortality caused by improper acclimatization, water quality issues, incompatible tank mates, transportation stress after delivery, or lack of proper care.
Aquarium Tanks & Custom Orders
Glass aquarium tanks, cabinet tanks, and custom-made aquariums are non-returnable and non-refundable once the order is confirmed.
Customers are advised to verify size, design, and specifications before placing the order.
Aquarium Accessories & Equipment
Returns or replacements may be considered only under the following conditions:
The product has a manufacturing defect or is damaged at the time of delivery
The issue is reported within 24 hours of delivery
The product is unused, in original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and invoice
Upon verification, SIAC may offer a replacement or store credit at its discretion.
Fish Food & Consumables
Fish food, medications, water conditioners, and consumable items are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless received in a damaged or expired condition.
Refund Process
Approved refunds, if applicable, will be processed through the original mode of payment or as store credit.
Refund processing timelines may vary depending on the payment method and banking channels.
Delivery & Installation Charges
Delivery, handling, and installation charges are non-refundable once the service has been rendered.
Delays caused by factors beyond our control (weather, logistics, site conditions) do not qualify for refunds.
Order Cancellation
Orders can be canceled only before processing or dispatch.
Once an order is confirmed, customized, dispatched, or installed, cancellation requests will not be accepted.
Inspection & Approval
All return or replacement requests are subject to inspection and approval by Southern India Aquatek. Our decision shall be final and binding.
Policy Updates
Southern India Aquatek reserves the right to amend this Returns & Refunds Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated policies will be published on the website.
